This is really coming in handy now that he’s working with small tungstens for a new sculpture that requires him to work in close quarters. He also discusses whether tungstens should be sharpened to a point or have a flat top. He explains when a sharp point will work and when it’s better to have a flat end, and whether it matters how you hold the tungsten against the grinding wheel (it does) and how amperage affects the tungsten.
