In response to a viewer from Kuwait, Kevin gives several “work arounds” for cutting metal as thick as 1/8″ without tools such as a plasma cutter or oxygen-acetylene torch. He shows various techniques using a 4-1/2″ or 7″ angle grinder with an abrasive cutting wheel, a Skilsaw, a table saw, and a Sawzall with short cutoff blades. He also shows a slick adjustable, magnetic straight edge guide that helps keep the cut straight.
