On July 30, 2015, in a brief ceremony, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts unveils Kevin Caron’s monumental sculpture Wherever You Go, There You Are in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After opening remarks from Whitaker Center Board Chair Gary St. Hilaire, Kevin shares the inspiration and history of the 9-foot-diameter sculpture.
Next Michael Hanes Ph.D., president and CEO of Whitaker Center, and Madlyn Hanes, vice president for Commonwealth Campuses of Penn State, who generously donated the funds for the purchase of the long-desired sculpture, speak.
Finally, the sculpture itself is unveiled to an enthusiastic reaction from the gathering of Whitaker Center staff, board and supporters, as well as some of Kevin’s YouTube followers.
