Working with the architect in a comprehensive residential remodel, Kevin designed a sink base for the home’s powder room. Hence the name – the vines seem to emerge from the wall tile, holding aloft the natural stone sink and finally finding there nourishing water.
Painting the plumbing pipes the same color as the powder-coat on the sink base helps completely hide them from view.
If any plumbing repairs are needed, however, the entire front of the vinework lifts off easily to reveal the more practical aspects of the sink.
In the same powder room, Kevin created the companion architectural detail Wipe Out.
