To create a new sculpture, Kevin shows how he slices 5-inch square tubing evenly and easily with his chop saw, which provides a very clean cut, and a simple compass with soapstone for marking. In this free how-to video, Kevin explains the effect of the saw kerf on the measurement and shows how he gets around it without a lot of math. Then he slices the steel using the chop saw (also known as a cold cut saw), as easily as slicing bread.
