To create solid bases – yes, two of them – for his new bell stand, Kevin cuts and fits pieces using the slip roll, hammer, shear and plasma cutter, then welds the pieces into place between the structural supports. Making the base solid gives the stand for this bell, whose working title is BobbyPin, greater rigidity and strength.
