Made of a heavier steel than that of the piece Floating Undulations, Monumountous is inspired by the mountain behind it with graceful folds and flowing peaks.
Monumountous also masks pool equipment, while providing easy access through a gate that disappears into the design itself.
Kevin considered coating the back of the piece, which faces the pool equipment, with a special paint that absorbs sound, but Monumountous was up to its monumental task of masking the sound while creating an architectural complement to the view.
