This free-standing sculpture is sited in Karen’s Garden, a courtyard in the front of the Rancho Santa Fe Elementary School, Avondale, Arizona.

Its leaves are brands designed by the students. All students designed brands, then each class selected its favorite. Kevin recreated those designs in metal using his coal forge.

Kevin gave 750 students background about railroad spikes and blacksmithing, and brought a forge and coal for them to see.
