"Wild Dreams" Show Photos
The "Wild Dreams" show opened with joy, laughter and appreciation on many fronts the evening of Thursday, October 13. A "second landing" reception was held the following Thursday evening, October 20, both as part of Scottsdale's ArtWalk.

Held at Pearson & Company, Scottsdale's premier indoor and outdoor landscape decorator, Kevin introduced a number of new pieces (check out In the Works to see what's new!) and entertained an energetic crowd. Extraordinary caterer Just Great Food was in charge of the "Bad Influence Dept., Food Division," tempting visitors with delicious desserts all evening.

The show's beneficiary, Wild At Heart, had several representatives at the show, but the human ones were clearly overshadowed by Antar, the Great Horned Owl (see below). Pearson & Company donated 10% of all sales proceeds from October 13 - 16, and then again on October 20, when the artist and Wild At Heart returned for another wonderful Scottsdale ArtWalk evening.

Strolling around the courtyard at Pearson's
Vistors seemed enchanted by the fairytale setting of Pearson's courtyard. Shaded by mesquite trees and decorated with exotic plants and unusual pots, the courtyard is a perfect setting for Kevin's fountains, bells, creatures and even a privacy screen.

Visitors signed in at Kevin's information table, where they also could browse through his portfolio and even read the recent article about Kevin in Phoenix Home & Garden.

Antar, the Great Horned Owl, watches the crowd
Wild At Heart, which receives 10% of all sales at Pearson's October 13 - 16 and October 20 and 10% from sales of Kevin Caron's work through the balance of the show, had an informational table, as well as a representative, Eileen Szychowski, to share the nonprofit organization's goals and successes. Eileen's WAH partners, however, garnered a great deal of attention. Handler Eileen Strauss provided a friendly perch for Antar, a Great Horned Owl, who watched everyone and everything alertly.

The fun continued on the "second landing" reception of October 20. The crowds were even thicker and, with the Cowboy Artists of America show in town, there were a lot of cowboy hats and fringe. And did we say fun? Lots of that, too, as well as three more sales. Two pieces are headed to Oregon and one to New York.
